Violet's Blog: Give me some Water!

First, it's my due date today. And no baby. No sign that the baby is coming soon. For some reason I never thought I'd go overdue so it's hard to get my brain around, but I really am trying hard to let this baby come when he/she wants. Send us some good patience vibes over these next few days (and hopefully not weeks!)

Violet has been having so much fun playing in the water lately. The other day she put on her rain boots and transfered water from Porter's bucket to her sand box and to the cement under the porch. For a very long time.

Tonight she wore her new "baby suit" or bathing suit and spent some time jumping in and out of her pool and then looking at her cute little footprints on the cement. This is one of my new favorite pictures of her.

Then we had a little photo shoot. This is her looking "nice".

I'm still a sucker for her sleeping pictures. This week I went in to check on her and saw that she fell asleep with her Princess book literally on her head. And yes, her tank top does strangely match her sheets.

Here are some detailed pics of how the drawers/cabinets work on the new entertainment center. This is one of the end drawers. Jon did finger joints on the edges which makes it even niftier!

Two whole drawers! There is so much storage here it's great! And already almost full!

And Jon cut down this very huge and unruly bush today. I wanted to keep it up for a little bit to see what exactly it did. And we found out what it did. It grew. And grew. And got in our way. So long, big crazy bush!
