I don't know if you still check these comments but I just found your blog looking for spica information. We just put our 11 month old in her first spica and we are SO unprepared! ;0) I would love to know your new blog, I really enjoy your writing and pictures and I'm going back to read more on Violets journey!
Thanks for your blog. My daughter is having surgery and getting a spica on Monday. Your blog is the most positive spin I've seen, and I appreciate that. Violet is such a positive little girl. If you still check this blog, I offer my congratulations on your son. Did he have any hip problems? Is Violet still doing well with her hips?
Sorry to hear that your daughter will be in a Spica - but you (both) can do it! I'm so glad to hear my blog has helped. Violet is now 5 and you would NEVER know she had so many surgeries and procedures and casts as a kiddo. She is running and jumping and playing with her classmates with no trouble! My youngest daughter Willa had a sonogram at 6 weeks which she passed with flying colors and she's been great ever since! Feel free to e-mail me at jesi josten at gmail dot com if you want to chat! jesi
