She CRAWLED!!!!!!!!!!
I am still in shock. Up until about an hour ago she was still super fussy when she was put on her tummy. She would last about 5 minutes tops.
Then tonight I put her down and she played pretty good (one hand on me, so sweet!). Then all of a sudden she scooted backwards. YAY!! I was soo happy about that!
But then... she went FORWARD!!!! You should have heard her - she was jabbering away sooooo happy!! It is the BEST!!! Just one week post-surgery. Hallelujah!

By the way, this is one of the positives about the cast - when all is said and done we will have gotten to watch Violet learn to sit up on her own 3x, learn to crawl 3x and learn to pull up on furniture 2x! Not many people can say that! And it's just as exciting every time. This crawling was AWESOME. My mom happened to be on the phone when she first did it and I probably busted out her eardrums! Sorry Mom!

Jon, Jesi & Violet - just wanted to let you know that we are thinking and praying for you guys. We can appreciate how challenging it can be to deal with a baby in a spica cast, but to have to go through it TWO times, I can't even imagine. I am glad to see that Violet is adjusting so well and she is so darn cute!! Congrats on the upcoming move to Denver. We hope to see you at Trent's wedding. Love, Chad, Beth & Quinn.
