3 Month Photos - Take Two

Here are some more pictures of Violet from her second of possibly dozens of 3 month photo sessions. She is a silly goose, as you can see. And as you've probably noticed, she takes way better pictures when she has no clothes on.




Her hair is getting thicker and longer (you'll notice the comb-over effect in the previous pictures). This morning we had "Beauty Salon" day. Here she is with a wee little barrette:


And this I call the "unicorn"


She has also figured out how to turn onto her side to sleep. It's pretty cute, but I spent far too long try to decide if she did it herself or if we now had a baby-flipping ghost living in our house the first time she did it! Sadly, I'm not kidding. :)

Letty is 3 Months Old!

Happy Three Month Birthday, Violet!

She is getting really big (close to 12 lbs) and learning how to do all sorts of new things. Lately she is very into "talking" with us. It's pretty cute to watch her try to figure out how to make sounds! She is a really happy baby overall - we love hanging out with her!




She has recently discovered how tasty fingers can be. She's on her way to being a thumb-sucker like her mommy!

The other day fell asleep in this uncomfortable-looking position in her Boppy. She stayed like this for two hours!

Uncle Brett Comes for a Visit

Violet's Uncle Brett finally made the trek back home from Montana to see his newest niece. Violet thought he was pretty cool...




Here is Brett getting overrun with the "Spawn of the Vredevoogd Girls" - from left to right: Ethan (now 7!), Violet, Brett, Claire (almost 2) and Anna (4).


And here is Violet wearing her Thrasher tee shirt. This was my "prop" I used to tell Jon I was pregnant. He got the hint pretty quickly, and now she's finally fitting into it!

Letty Stays with Daddy

I had to go out of town this week for a website conference in Chicago. Jon took on "Letty Duty" for two days and did great!

Of course, Violet was sad to see me go...


Jon took the opportunity to take some pictures... Letty looks enthused (and strangely the same in all the pictures!)

It's been a while...

Can you believe I went more than a WEEK without posting! I'm working again (part-time) and things get a little hectic :)

Letty enjoyed her first-ever Easter. Here she is in her adorable Easter dress. Too bad it was FREEZING COLD so we had to put on extra layers to keep her from freezing.



And here she is hanging out on the pool table. She is actually in her "activity gym" but spends most of her time smiling at the ceiling fan.



And her first pair of miniature sized jeans. She's growing up so fast!


Here she is all bundled up in purple. She is sooo much bigger in her carseat now! We have to loosen the straps every few days it seems!

to whoever invented the Bumbo seat (pic below)... Violet can kinda-sorta sit up by herself in it, and I can get pictures like THIS:




Here is what she looks like in it. She can't stay in it for too long because her neck isn't QUITE ready for that much work yet. But still!
